Low Odor Dry Markers: Making Dry Erase Markers Kid Friendly

Dry erase markers are great. Teachers love them because white boards are better than chalk boards. Chalk might be traditional, but it’s not nearly as useful for a teacher. However dry erase markers have had a disadvantage, namely the noxious smell. That’s why for teachers, especially for grade school low odor dry erase markers are a wonderful thing. It lets you use the white board and the ease of erasing off of it, the clear writing, the bright and multiple colors and the fact that they actually clean well. However, teachers aren’t the only ones who benefit from being able to use low odor dry erase markers around young kids.  Parents can benefit from dry erase boards. The benefits of low odor dry erase markers are most evident when it comes to learning how to read and write for kids.

It’s not easy to learn how to read a new language. Anyone who’s ever tried to learn a second language knows how hard it is learn to read; when you’re trying with your first language you lack the skills and knowledge of how reading even works. Anything you can do to make it easier on your child gives them a leg up. The sooner they learn to read, and the more fun, and less work they have with it the better the chances they’ll be more willing to read as they go on in their lives. Dry erase boards and low odor dry erase markers make it easier to practice with a child how to sound out a letter and a word, and then how to draw and shape them. By keeping everything big and bold it makes it easier for the child to read and draw.

Kids are in general more sensitive to smells, tastes and noises they don’t like. Which can be amazing considering the fact that kids will refuse to shower, eat dirt, and scream, but it has to be on their terms. Kids don’t have much tolerance for things they don’t like, and their bodies are in some ways more sensitive. Noxious odors can bother a child much more, and considering the proximity you have to maintain to help a kid learn to read and write using dry erase markers it can be a problem. This is why for a parent interested in helping their child’s education a low odor dry erase marker is a god send. You can spend time with the child and work on teaching them the valuable skills, bond with them, and not bother them with the stench of a dry erase marker. Low odor dry erase markers are frankly a benefit for anyone who’s got to be in an enclosed space and close to them, but they’re even better for people who have to or want to work with kids.
